Here’s some of the public events that are lined up so far:
Monday, April 9th - I’ll be doing henna at MCC Maple Woods from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm as part of their Express Yourself event. If you’re a student there, drop by!
Saturday, April 21st – I’ll be facepainting for the Lion’s Club event at Center High, 87th & Homes. 8:30-10:30 am
Tuesday, April, 24th - I’ll be doing henna at MCC Longview with my good friend Dyp from Dyp Embellishements. If you’re a student there, drop by the Student Union for some free henna! 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Saturday, May 26th & Sunday May 27th – Stop by the Jiggle Jam Family Music Festival at Crown Center. I’ll be in the face painting booth both days!
Monday, June 4th – I’ll be face painting for FREE at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library’s Main Branch for their summer reading program kick-off party! 625 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS – 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Saturday, June 16th – I’ll be face painting for the Parkinson’s Foundation fundraiser at Prairie Village Shopping Center at 71st & Mission Rd. Come out and help support this great cause! – 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Friday, June 22nd – Come get henna or face painting at the Relay for Life event at the South Valley Junior High School in Liberty, MO. A portion of all proceeds goes to this great charity. So come help raise money for a great cause and get a great painted face at the same time! 800 Midjay Drive, Liberty, MO – 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th – Come learn about henna at Union Station at the Kansas City Maker Faire. A number of local henna artists will have a booth to talk about henna and demonstrate its use. I’ll be there doing henna Saturday evening 5:30 to 7:00 pm and Sunday morning 9:30 to 11:30.
Wednesday, July 4th - Once again I’ll be painting for my good friends at Sister Act Face Painting at Prairie Village’s annual Villagefest! 77th and Mission Road – 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Saturday, July 7th and Sunday July 8th – Once again I will be doing face painting and henna at the Kansas City Metaphysical Fair. It will be at the Holiday Inn at 8787 Reeder Rd, Overland Park. Just for this festival, I will also be selling hand crafted wire and stone tiaras and jewelry! (And a portion of all the jewelry and tiara proceeds will be going to a local food pantry.) – Saturday 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Sunday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday, July 14th – Adults and teens (16 and up) are welcome to attend my FREE Henna How-To workshop at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library’s Main Branch. Learn the basics of what henna is, how it’s mixed and practice it yourself! Call 913-279-2066 to register for the class. 625 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS – 10:00 am
Sunday, September 9th – Come visit my booth at Kansas City’s Pagan Pride Day for henna or face painting at Macken Park, 1194 Clark Ferguson Drive, North Kansas City. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to charity at this event!! – 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday, September 29th – I’ll be face painting for FREE at the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library’s F.L Schlagle Branch for their annual butterfly festival. Come join me at 4051 West Drive, Wy Co Lake – 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
